Tuesday Night Restaurant


New for this summer, we will be holding several Braai inspired restaurant nights in the boathouse. The word Braai comes from the Dutch braden, meaning 'to grill', and is an abbreviation of braaivleis meaning ‘to roast over coals’.


In honour of this, we have installed a Bertha charcoal oven in our boathouse kitchen, and chef Tom Douglas (The Braai Guy) is offering a restaurant menu with elements cooked on the coals. The freshest local and seasonal ingredients will be used to produce mouth-watering dishes in the stunning surroundings of the Port Waterhouse boathouse. We will be offering a full bar service from our  licensed bar.

Our restaurant nights are on Tuesdays as follows:

Tables available from 5pm offering two or three course set menus with a choice of options for starter, main and dessert. £35 two course/ £45 three course menu (see below for sample menu). Due to the size of the venue there is no children's menu for the Tuesday night restaurant.
